Roberto Capuano is a fresh face on Napoli’s rich Techno scene. Guided by a strong passion for electronic music, this young Italian is continuously searching for new sounds and targets to reach. Capuano’s releases have already caught the attention and received heavy rotation from the likes of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and most of his Italian music friends. And with his latest release on Adam Beyer’s ‘15 Years of Drumcode’ compilation, Roberto has made another huge step forward.

Next to this new talent’s three original tunes, on ‘Invaders Are Back EP’ you will find one of Driving Forces biggest tracks to date, no less than Drumcode and 8 Sided Dice artist, Alan Fitzpatrick delivering an amazing remix of the title track, which has already been supported by Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Sasha Carassi and Alan himself, on his recent ‘Essential Mix’ for BBC Radio 1.

Indiana’s Kyle Geiger joins forces once again with fellow compatriot Bobby Dowell to deliver two new tracks for Sutter Cane’s Driving Forces label. Remixes from Jerome Sydenham and Marco Bailey with Tom Hades complete the ‘Memory To Control EP’.

Kyle Geiger’s quick rise in the international dance scene is due to both his production prowess and his explosive decks and effects DJ sets. Originally inspired by the harder, percussive styling of late 90′s Swedish techno on labels like Drumcode and Code Red, Kyle has witnessed the evolution of the genre into a more accessible, groove based sound. Still loving the energy and power of the earlier phases while embracing the genre’s changes, Kyle has refined his productions, with highly regarded releases on the likes of Drumcode, MB Elektronics and Perc Trax.

Bobby Dowell revels in the obscure and the darkness. He delivers a sound devoid of form, while embracing the traditional canvas of the most notorious of time signatures. One could say he delights in the “different drummer.” The sound is dark and decadent, while creating a living, breathing human element that one could only describe as soul. He rarely escapes his own studio, releasing on labels like Droid, Perc Trax, and SlapJaxx, as well as these occasional collaborations with Kyle Geiger.

Their original versions of ‘Just a Memory’ and ‘CNTRL’ combine both their styles perfectly, creating two powerful, groove-fuelled workouts.

Ibadan’s mighty Jerome Sydenham takes on the deep ‘Just A Memory’. Upping the hi-hats and claps to give it a funkier edge, Jerome’s unique touch is fully evident on this punchy remix. While Belgian techno luminary Marco Bailey hooks up with regular collaborator Tom Hades to rework the tougher ‘CNTRL’, turning in a stomping remix to finish off this 4-way dancefloor destroyer.
